You are the Stargate!

Summary

This workshop takes its name from the insight that gave StarGate Labs its own name: a meditation, years ago, that spoke plainly — you are the StarGate. Here, that recognition becomes a shared, interactive experience.

The group imagination moves through consciousness, sacred geography and sound cosmology — and their interconnection and significance for us.

In a guided exercise, participants will be introduced to a gentle introduction for attuning to the subtle qualities of an object — drawing on Giordano Bruno’s dials (a Renaissance system for organizing memory and meaning around symbolic wheels) and Ibrahim Karim’s Dial of Qualities (a contemporary tool from BioGeometry for reading the subtle energetic signature of a form). Together, these carry the potential to transform mundane artifacts into perceptual doorways, and snake accessible the wondrous ways the microcosm — a creature — reflects the macrocosm.

The group imagination moves through sacred geography, power spots, sound theology and their inter-connection and significance for us.

In a guided exercise, participants will be introduced to how one might transform mundane artifacts into extraordinary perceptual doorways and explore the wondrous ways in which the microcosm (a human) reflects the macrocosm.

Please bring an artifact that speaks to you — a talisman, stone, plant, book, action figure, technology, deity, etc. We’ll use the dial to work with them together.

Time permitting, we’ll embark on a closely related sound meditation practice from the mystical Abrahamic traditions — the Sophic Whorl of the Inayatiyya school, a framework where the body mirrors the cosmos through subtle centers (latā’if) that resonate with the music of each of the spheres (planets).

This is a warm invitation to activate the emergent possibility for joyous exploration and revelation, as a birthright for humanity’s next chapter.
