Research
We investigate how consciousness, cosmology, and technology interweave — recovering technology’s original purpose as an interface to a multi-dimensional reality, not just an extension of our reach within it. Our work draws on emerging sciences, comparative cosmology, and contemplative traditions to build a rigorous foundation for cosmological technologies.
1. Microcosmic–Macrocosmic Correspondences
The universe has a fractal quality where an individual is a literal microcosm of the macrocosm. What’s discovered within is also found without. Discovering and cultivating these correspondences can reshape how we understand reality, identity, ethics, and technology — offering an ontology for exploration that is more than merely utilitarian.
This thread engages sacred geography, pilgrimage, temple building, consciousness exploration, and contact with other subjective intelligences of the cosmos.
We share this work through workshops (on offerings page), articles, podcasts, and the Incubator.

2. Healing Technology
Recovering diverse cultural and historical understandings of what technology is and how to develop it — moving beyond utility and extraction toward transformation and revelation.
Under this thread, StarGate Labs examines alternate historical timelines and diverse wisdom lineages to uncover alternate frameworks for technology — asking how technology, and possibly system infrastructure itself, can become a vessel for transformation, initiation, and ethical relation, rather than a system of control and extraction. One such framework is Hermetic Technology.
Current expressions of this research include essays, podcasts, and talks — along with the workshop Designing Cosmological Technologies, which brings this framework directly to organizations, moving from history to prototype.
Questions We are Exploring
How might we measure the music of the spheres again today?
Kepler mapped planetary motion to musical intervals with real mathematical rigor in Harmonices Mundi — a legacy still present in both Western and Eastern scales. What would it mean to extend that same rigor to reconcile both systems today?
How should a cosmological technology catalogue its holdings?
A chronological catalogue, like the Franklin Institute’s, tells a story of linear progress. A vertical, tattva-based catalogue asks a different question: not when a technology was made, but what level of reality it actually engages — material, cognitive, or closer to the subject itself. What would it mean to catalogue our own pilot technologies this way?
How do we encounter the other?
What kinds of contact — subtle, symbolic, visionary, relational — are humans already experiencing, and how might we better discern, document, and integrate them? This extends to a newer question: can AI become an oracle or intermediary for this kind of contact, or does it remain an instrument of extraction dressed in new language?
